Comesperma volubile is a delicate twining creeper which 'ties itself in true lovers' knots' (Robinson), hence the name 'Love Creeper'. It is widespread in heath and woodland, usually in shady areas. It is uncommon in Lane Cove National Park.

The few soft flat leaves grow up to 3 cm.

The flowers are bluish mauve-purple.

Comesperma volubile flowers from August to November.
